Hico lived and cooked in California for years. The Mexican food is great. He even makes the sour cream at home, and the cilantro is grown locally.
The meat is marinated perfectly. It's a small intimate bar perfect for meeting locals. You can get introductions to local live events too.
I'm in town for a short time and I've come here multiple times.

2 años agoExcellent California style Mexican food. It's served to suit Japanese tastes, so don't expect a big sloppy burrito on a plate of rice and beans. The flavor of the carne asada burrito and fish tacos are just what you'd expect in southern California. But they're served neat.
This place is basically a bar though, so enjoy some drinks with your Mexican meal.
