ALDO Azabudai Hills is a refined Peruvian restaurant located on the 3rd floor of Azabudai Hills Tower Plaza in Tokyo. It is helmed by Chef Aldo Urata, a third-generation Japanese-Peruvian from Trujillo, Peru, who draws inspiration from the traditional recipes passed down from his grandmother and mother. After gaining experience with Mexican cuisine and other international flavors, he opened the original ALDO in Kita-Aoyama in 2016 and expanded to the Azabudai Hills location in November 2023. in the last weekThis is my favorite Peruvian restaurant in Azabudai Hills. I like to drop in at lunchtime and eat casually at the counter. Everything is delicious. My recommendation here is definitely the "chicha morada," a traditional Peruvian juice made from purple corn. I rarely drink bottled juice that's full of additives, but the juice here is the polar opposite: simple, healthy, and nutritious, and I feel like it helps relieve my fatigue.

in the last weekFantastic meal at Aldos, drinks were excellent, food delicious and service was great. Had the set meal with a variety of Peruvian dishes and they just kept getting better. Been travelling in Asia for 5 months now and this is the best meal we’ve had, something I never thought I’d say when we booked our table.

a week agoI was strolling around Azabudai Hills and decided to stop by here at lunchtime as I didn't have to wait in line. I ordered the 2,200 yen lunch set. It came with a cake-shaped potato salad called causa, which was bigger than I expected and very elaborately presented, making me impressed with the value for money. The Peruvian-style stir-fried beef and vegetables was stir-fried with soy sauce, and the beef had a delicious red color that I really liked. It even included coffee, so for the price and location it felt like a bargain. If you're not sure what to have for lunch in Azabudai Hills, I highly recommend it.

a week agoI can't believe it was made by a Peruvian! It's nowhere near the authentic taste. I'll never come back! The meat dishes are raw.
