Delicious little gem that we found while wandering in Nihombashi. Seats are limited but we came around 8:45 pm and didn’t have to wait. The sashimi platter and salmon belly sushi was very fresh. The tuna guacamole and fresh oysters were also very tasty, and they had tempura burdock on special. Owner and staff are friendly and atmosphere was really quaint and nice. Our 9yo son enjoyed the meal, too!
The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the owner speaks very good English.
We found the Cantinho on our first night in Japan, and the food here set a high benchmark for anything else we ate anywhere else - it's that good! So good, we came back for our final meal before flying home next morning.
Super fresh and flavourful sashimi, crisp and tender eggplant tempura, sweet and juicy fried prawns, and excellent home-made condiments to accompany it all.
The prices are very reasonable and it's a pleasure to watch chef at work behind the counter.
A restaurant in Nihonbashi serving Japanese and Brazilian cuisine. The space is a bit small, but both the Japanese and Brazilian dishes are delicious. The staff made a polite impression.
Tony is amazing! We asked him for some sushi and sashimi and whatever else he wants to make and he brought out amazing food. We had amazing fish, corn tempura, charred edamame which had some otherworldly magically flavor. The sakes we had paired perfectly with the food. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in Tokyo again!
This is a small intimate restaurant tucked away on a smaller side street.
The atmosphere is cosy but still had Japanese charm.
The staff in this place are absolutely fantastic. I can only speak basic Japenese, but the staff were so patient when I was ordering food and drinks. Very gracious staff and very good service.
Most importantly the food, absolutely excellent. We had a selection of various sashimi, sushi and in my case salsa chicken.
All food was presented beautifully, and the tastes whilst subtle were excellent. No over powering flavours.
I loved this little place and would recommend for anyone.
