7 años agoHungry for something other than Japanese, my friend and I looked up a local burger spot in Sendai and found Teddy’s Diner. The owner, Kenny, recommended his day's special, a cheeseburger with homemade sour cream and chili with a side of fries and onion rings. It sounded good to the both of us, so we ordered it.
The burger was legitimately tasty, messy, and absolutely delicious. He also has a range of beers and mixed drinks available to quench your thirst or if you just want to spend some time relaxing. It also helps that Kenny was friendly and a great guy to chat with, in English or Japanese!
We'll be back to see you next time!

5 años agoThe beef patties were a standout especially, as Ken makes them from scratch, and the burger overall was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend trying the burger of the month with a milkshake and combo fries/rings.

4 años agoTraveled from Tokyo. The owner does everything by himself so it takes forever to get your burger. I’ve never met such an enthusiastic man to make customers order what they don’t really want. Buns are cold, the room is also freezing, but I don’t want to believe Sendai is an unwelcoming city, like this restaurant.

5 años agoHad the monthly special, loco moco style, diner style, hash potatoes, topped with a fried egg. Ordered additional Onion rings.
The burger was nice and juicy, fries and onion rings were crispy and not oily at all. For a price of ~ 1200 Yen it is reasonable given the quality of the food you get.
12/10 will come again. Loved it.
Additional points for the diner style hash browns. You don't see that in Japan at all.

6 años agoAn authentic American style burger joint in Sendai. The taste is out of the world: the beef patty is thick and juicy, the vegetables are fresh, the fried potatoes are crispy. I especially like the pickles. Price wise it's worth the experience.
Fair warning, since the owner does everything by himself it takes time for your order to complete. So if you're in hurry you might want to reconsider.
