The Zocalo Burrito

Great buritos and beer a minute from Amemura. The couple that runs this spot puts out consistent and tasty Mexican food with a well curated beer menu.

Been going since they first opened and highly recommend their deluxe burritos & delicious quesadillas. Always great food and friendly service, and a nice selection of craft beers as well. The original monthly meeting place for OBAS (the Osaka Burrito Appreciation Society) too.

I don't go to the Shinsaibashi area very often, but this is a place I always want to visit when I do. I especially love their bean burritos. The quesadillas and margaritas were also delicious. When I brought some home as a souvenir for my family, they were delighted, saying, "Delicious!!" When I go with friends, they also say, "Delicious!" and are very happy. The service might seem a little understated to first-timers or Japanese people (I think Japanese people tend to expect overly polite service), but I suppose more understated service is common overseas. When I lived in America for a short time, I ate some delicious Mexican food, and I sometimes miss it. That's when I remember this place and want to go eat there. It's simply delicious. overall mushy and bland. second time here but it was a let down. honestly I remember this place tasting way better.
