I came for dinner expecting to eat a Cuban sandwich and leave. It turns out there was a live music event happening in a little while and they asked if I wanted to stay for that. I said sure. The guy who greeted me started speaking to me in Spanish and I got confused and then he switched to English/Japanese.

I sit down and order a sandwich and some wine. The food was excellent. I love sandwiches and finding a Cuban sandwich nearby is a pleasant discovery.

Shortly after I finish eating the music eventually starts up and that was a lot of fun. It felt like there were a handful of locals or regulars. An American couple came in and they started speaking Spanish to the guy. Then two different Puerto Rican groups came in and they started speaking Spanish. It was amazing.

    I need to come again.

I came here this weekend becuase I was craving mojitos and Cuban food sounded like a great idea.

It was Cafe Rumba night and a group from the community was playing in a drum circle and dancing.

I also enjoyed mojitos and piña coladas while I was here.

For food I ordered the roasted chicken plate and it came with a FULL plate of the beans and rice mix and HALF of a roasted chicken. It also came with yuca which I would recommend ordering. The rice and chicken were flavorful and tender with lots of garlic and umami flavors.

The staff were also extremely kind and I loved the environment. It felt as close to authentic as you can get here in Tokyo.
By the end of the night I was dragged into the drum circle to dance and it was a great end to the night.

I would highly recommend this spot.
It can be hard to find at first as it is in the basement so keep that in mind when arriving!!

This place is amazing! Not only
For the food but also for the vibes. If you come on a weeekend, you will encounter a fun live event. You will leave every plate you order empty because this food is delicious! On top of that, the owners speak Spanish fluently, they grew up in Cuba. Although I am Dominican, i always come to this place to get a taste of home . I didnt include any photos of the food before but this is the aftermath as proof of the yummy food

We went when there was a live music performance and the wonderful Latin jazz gave us life! If you’re missing Latin culture, food, or music, vas a disfrutar de aquí!

All I wanted was a quiet place with a cheap mojito. What I got was a lively drum circle, some of the best Latin food I've had in Japan, and mojitos that could drop a mule. This has quickly become a "must come back spot".
