Visited this place 10yrs ago, it was chill and not many dancers when I was there back then. Like most places in Japan, small and intimate.
So when I saw they were still open in 2026 I was so excited. They had a band and a bday party the night I went so there were many people, tight space for dancing but the energy was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Overall, highly recommend if you love salsa/bachata dancing.

I visited Club Leon on Halloween of 2025 with a group of friends. Highly recommend the visit for salsa and latin music fans, the salda dance classes were amazing and the people very friendly. This place was definitely one of our best stops on my trip!

Cozy little Latin dance bar near Shinjuku. Went for Wednesday salsa lessons and social; I speak very limited Japanese and teacher and bartender very limited English, but we worked it out ok through their super friendliness and chill and relaxed vibe.

(Wed entrance fee for social at 9pm+ 1 drink ticket = 1500 yen. Lessons between 7:30-9pm at 1500 yen seperate)

Highly recommend if you're Shinjuku area and looking for some Latin music/dance. (Get the Japanese salsa calendar app for more details on where and when Latin dance events are happening in Japan)

Ps. Haven't tried their food so can't really comment... Beer and highball was good though.

I came to see Latin music event and got a bit hungry. So I ordered lomo saltado and it was delicious. The Peruvian aji Amarillo flavour is beautiful. I did not expect this quality of food for a Latin bar. But could be actually level for a restaurant. Gracias.

Great music, great dance floor, but waited all night, only 2 people showed up on Tuesday night. Very Aggressive owners (Peruvian man and Japanese woman) repeatedly pushed us to dance even after we politely declined. We spoke with owners in Spanish and English and stayed all night hoping there would be a few more people. A lady told me that in Japan you should never say no when you’re asked to dance. Peruvian owner was very rude to a potential Italian customer, and kicked him out. Many better venues available on a Japan app called SalsaCalendar and it’s available in English too.
