Never Never Land

This place is very cool, if you want the classic Shimokitazawa listening bar experience this was our favourite. Ken the bartender is an absolute legend and played us some truly choice records and CDs. Food was great for a casual bar eat as well. Friendly chats as well as opposed to some other Shimo listening bars we went to where the bartender was too cool to chat with forieners haha. Which is a vibe in its own right but you won't get that here at Never Never. Our favourite spot in the hood for sure.

This bar is so cute! We walked in here not knowing what to expect but it was a great find. So cozy, filled with great music and records. An amazing listening bar with great beer. Deff check it out if you are in the area. Vibes = chilllll.

Very chill bar with good music. Not sure what the event was but we walked in on them playing Suikawari (the Japanese watermelon piñata game) in the middle of the bar. The owners were very friendly and even gave us some after it was cracked open.

was reccomended never never land by another bartender in the area. I love the sense of community in shimokita and this place was no exception. felt super welcome while also just having drinks and listening to the bartender's curated vinyl selection. so many interesting patrons visited throughout the evening and it was a very fun and comfortable experience.

Nice experience all-round. The music was a little loud at times, but otherwise, vibes and food were good.
