Rojo Amigo Kitchen

This restaurant requires you to purchase a drink. It was a little difficult to find through Google Maps. Just look up at the signage and find the stairs on the side. (The location is on the upper floor.) We ordered the guacamole/salsa nachos. The guacamole is baked with the salsa and cheese to make a hot dip. We ordered them while we decided on our main meal. Ask about the frozen margarita. They make them from fruit that is in season. My mango margarita was freshly made and very good! We ordered a carne asade burrito and tacos. They were all freshly made and "light", not heavy or deep-fried. The atmosphere reminded me of Mexico's Day of the Dead---very cool, not commercialized. It's not a huge space, so it's good to go on a weeknight. Great for couples or just a few friends.

2 chefs cook up all the food here, and reservations are very beneficial as they are usually full during dinner hours

However, it did take a while for my food to arrive when I was there, but it could have been because they were super busy that day

If i could give this place 8 stars, i would. Incredible service, incredible foooood, and incredible atmosphere. I would literally walk through the deserts of the Sahara barefoot just to taste the Fundido again. Absolute joy of a place, shoutout the entire staff. Don’t listen to the dummies who gave this anything less than a 5 star review!

Amazing authentic Mexican restaurant with a wide selection of tequila and mezcal.
Love their tacos and everything else.
The vibe is good too.
The only downside is that the restaurant is usually operated with just 2 staff, so serving can be slow. Highly recommended.

Many dishes available, we tried 5 different and they were amazing. Atmosphere and service also excellent. Extremely recommended!
