Mixed feelings. The place itself is super cute, staff is incredibly nice. But the food is not great. I got their lunch menu (fish taco, octopus taco, and pork carnitas taco) with a side of guacamole. Tortillas are not made fresh, so they’re very dry, not warm, not soft. Big problem in my opinion for a taco place. Guacamole is weird, it’s not just avocado it’s some sort of paste… fish was soggy not crunchy which is not what you expect for fried fish. Octopus was too sweet, I guess it’s more for Japanese palates. Carnitas was alright, I liked the almonds!
That being said, I do love that they give you several really good spicy sauces. I don’t think I’ll be back as it’s quite expensive, but since there are really not many Mexican places in Japan, you could try it out for yourself.
Great taco spot with a really nice vibe. The waiters were kind and attentive, and they took the time to explain the different sauces to us, which made the experience even better.
The food was delicious — I had a pork taco with almonds, and it was amazing. We also ordered a quesadilla, which was very good as well.
There was good music playing, and the second-floor seating has a cute view of the street, which made it a lovely place to sit and enjoy the meal.
This place I sware has better tacos than Mexico. The seafood is off the boat fresh. The best Octopus, most tender I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. They have a dozen different local hot sauces to try. I must do in this area of Tokyo.
I really enjoyed this place. Not only is the ambiance laidback and cozy, but the tacos are outstanding. And you get a plethora of hot sauces to choose from which is really nice. I ended up ordering 3 tacos: pork carnitas, shrimp and avocado, and fish. They were all very tasty and I’d like to come back and try some of the other offerings. The service was friendly and accommodating.
The chicken carnitas tacos was good. The quesadilla was below average unfortunately. It seemed it was burnt as seen in pictures and neither did it taste as good as it should. I recommend sticking only to tacos. The ambience is ok , woth both indoor and outdoor seating and staff is polite. The highlight is its location in Hiroo.
