My husband and I decided to try out this place while on a family trip to Tokyo. In Toyama, where we are from, there is an AMAZING Mexican restaurant. This place did not hold up. The flavor was ok. Chimichangas do not have bbq sauce in it. The enchilada was more tomato taste than Mexican. The drinks, however, were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was nice and clean. It was decorated appropriately. I would recommend this place for the drinks.
The food is delicious, and I thought the flavor was quite authentic as well! There is a large selection of drinks, and the atmosphere is cozy, with songs in Spanish contributing to the vibe. I really love the bottle display behind the bar. I feel like it would be a good place to come as a couple or in a very small group. It's a bit of a hidden bar well-loved by Kasai locals with a 20-year history!
I really enjoy coming here with my husband on occasion (although I'd love to come here on a more regular basis!). The owners are so friendly and we enjoy having a bit of a chat with them when we're here. We've celebrated many a milestone here with a drink and snacks.
Great choice of tequila, easily over 100 bottles at any given time. Good quesadilla and tacos. Could be spicier but still waaay better than any "Mexican" you will find in downtown. Those who speak Japanese will find the owner quite entertaining.
