    I have eaten here three times since it opened last month, which says a lot in a place with so many dining options. This is real Mexican food. Real tacos, guac, and even deliciously nutty, spicy salsa macha. Real corn tortillas and tortilla chips (sorry, Kaldi, you've been bested). If you're craving authentic, tasty Mexican food in Yokohama, this is the place. And as a most-of-the-time vegetarian, I really appreciate that the QR code menu has a designated section for vegetarian and vegan options. Super easy.

    Bonus: The service is warm and friendly. The owners, a husband and wife, are so hospitable. They make a good margarita too. :)

    The location is very conveniently in China Town and easy to find. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is beautiful. The food itself was amazing. I had enchiladas and various types of tacos. The service was phenomenal. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. I recommend this place 100%. Great food and great service!

    I had a very enjoyable experience at Tacos Master in Yokohama. The restaurant offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes, creating a unique and authentic dining experience. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
    The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu and offer helpful recommendations, which made the experience even better.
    The food was delicious, with rich flavors and satisfying portions. I especially appreciated that they offer vegetarian options, which can be difficult to find in Japan. This made the visit even more enjoyable and inclusive.
    I enjoyed the music choice, and the lovely decoration around the place in addition to the cactuses placed around.
    The location is convenient, the prices are reasonable, and the overall environment is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend Tacos Master to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience in Yokohama.

    Was feeling a little down seeing mum off at the airport. Walking aimlessly I saw a sign saying Taco Master. Having missed breakfast stomach was pretty honest about what it wanted. Glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. Incredible Tacos, fresh Chips and Salsa - The chef was super friendly and tried to refuse payment until the next time as they didn't have change. Real South American hospitality.

    Real Mexican food is sometimes difficult to find internationally, and Tacos Master is a gift to Yokohama. Opened February 1, 2026, Tacos Master is owned by a wonderful Mexican couple with an extensive background in the culinary arts. The menu features classic staples (as well as some vegetarian options like cheese and veggie quesadillas and other veggie-filled options) that immediately bring to mind the flavors of street food/food truck tacos in the best way possible. This is something I miss living away from my hometown with a large Latinx community, and this place scratches that itch. I started with the chicken volcano and chips and guacamole, then moved on to what I thought would be my only shredded beef taco. I ordered another before I could finish it and another after that. Incredible. The meat is perfectly simmered at a precise temperature for 13 hours, and the equation is obviously exactly right! They offer salsa verde and red sauce, as well as their own “salsa macha” (not to be confused with matcha) that offer some spice to the plate and yet don’t go overboard for the uninitiated. Give this place a visit on the 2nd floor and enjoy!
