After hiking up Mitakiyama I got off the train at Yokogawa station and I was starving. I found this highly rated okonomiyaki restaurant nearby so I decided to try it out.

The family that runs it is very friendly. I couldn't decide on which okonomiyaki to order so I asked for a recommendation for a meat one. They gave me the standard butaniku okonomiyaki and it was excellent!

The service was very attentive and the place was crowded with regulars, but I still didn't have to wait for a table as there is ample table and bench seating with hot plates built into the tables inside. I felt that the price was excellent for the okonomiyaki, and I would definitely eat here again. Thank you for the meal!

We stumbled upon this place after a long day of walking around Hiroshima. We got there a few minutes before opening and the owner greeted us in a very friendly manner; even though we do not speak japanese he did a great job on explaining the dishes and ingredients and he made us feel very comfortable as tourists. The tables have a hot iron plate in the center so you can keep your okonomiyaki hot while your eating it, and this is without a doubt the best okonomiyaki we have ever had, only made better by a cold draught beer. This is definetly a 10/10 food experience.

The okonomiyaki at this small spot was amazing. And the staff are very attentive and polite. There's an English menu and the prices are quite cheap.

I was only in Hiroshima for a day when travelling and accidentally stumbled upon on this place while Cycling around and the food was the BEST food we had during the entire 3 week trip across the country

A Small Menu usually means the small amount of options are all really bloody good and it was phenomenal, the staff were lovely and it was just a brilliant bite to eat

The best service you will find.
Family restaurant with very nice people and great food, prices are reasonable as well.
Well located close to the station, so it is easy to get there.
