They don't keep to their set hours; they wouldn't let us in, and it said the last order was 10:30 PM, but they refused to take our drink order, and we arrived at 10:06 PM.

They don't follow what they post, especially after coming from so far away... It's fine that they close at a certain time, but they shouldn't say the actual time. Our friends are calling us; we came from far away and they won't let us in.

Having seen El Pancho and read so many positive reviews, I really wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. I'm from California, so I know what really good Mexican food is, but honestly, this wasn't it. Like many Mexican restaurants in Japan, it was a strange mix of American and Tex-Mex flavors with an overly strong cumin flavor, and it missed the mark in every way. I ordered the beef burrito set, and while the guacamole was okay, the rest of the food wasn't particularly tasty or authentic. I know there are better restaurants in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, but El Pancho was honestly quite disappointing. It's a shame. Just to be clear, I ordered delivery and didn't eat in, so I can't comment on the service or ambiance. The food was warm and freshly prepared when it arrived, but unfortunately, the flavor was just not to my liking.

It's been a while since I last visited. The interior is a little dark, but it has a hidden feel, and it was as busy as ever. I had Mexican tacos for 750 yen and a pancita (a Mexican street food stew of offal). The tacos were consistently delicious, and the pancita was well-seasoned, with plenty of toppings and a nice spiciness. During happy hour until 5pm, a Corona was 460 yen. A king-size frozen margarita was 900 yen, a great deal.

A casual restaurant in Shinsaibashi where you can enjoy authentic Mexican food. This time I ordered the "Premium Rich Healthy & Vegetable Set (¥1,500)." It's packed with chicken and vegetable tacos, quesadillas, potatoes, guacamole, beans, and salad, and is actually a lot more filling than it looks. The tacos were packed with juicy chicken and vegetables. The savory tortilla and the ingredients were well-balanced, making it healthy yet satisfying. The quesadilla had melted cheese and a rich flavor that went perfectly with the guacamole. For drinks, I ordered a strawberry margarita (¥790). It was a great deal at ¥460 during happy hour. The sweet and sour flavor and the sharpness of the tequila were just right, making it a great match for a meal. The price and content are well-balanced, making this a great place for both lunch and dinner. The casual atmosphere makes it an appealing place to drop in.
