El Tesoro es una de esas direcciones de Kyoto que uno visita una vez y quiere repetir. El equipo cuida cada detalle: desde la seleccion del producto hasta la presentacion final, pasando por un servicio que hace sentir bien a quien se sienta en cualquiera de las mesas. El ambiente acogedor y el servicio atento crean el escenario perfecto para una comida que merece el tiempo que uno le dedica. La cocina hace su parte con productos frescos y tecnica solida. Para una experiencia gastronomica que va mas alla de lo esperado y que convierte la primera visita en habito.

Great location, just a tiny bit away from Gion, inside a new, stylish building. The design is classic, warm, reminiscent of old school Japanese bars, but there are some pleasant newer additions, like a frame-window into the street garden.
Master is lovely, extremely knowledgeable and well connected. Expect from him drinks that are classic, not too much, and yet each one has a bit of an original twist.
Nothing over the top, nothing that makes you go “wow”, and yet every detail is so thought out that you can’t help but want to come again.

5 meses agoGreat cocktail bar with an incredible whiskey selection and jazz music playing in the background. The owner is very kind and welcomed us in even though the bar is normally reserved for members only.

2 años agoReally strange environment. Bad selection of drinks - only have cheaper versions of spirits and the barman couldn’t mix a pack of cards; never mind a cocktail. Much better places to be found nearby

1 año agovery unwelcoming. It's "members only" bar. We walked far since our hotel recommend this bar however they do not accept foreigners.

When asked how can I join they just smiled and waved us off.
They should remove themselves from google.
