3 meses agoIncredible. The staff was friendly and helpful. When asked for a wine pairing opinion, the chefs were decisive and knowledgable. I almost never leave reviews for restaurants but I feel compelled. My experience this evening was nothing short of wonderful.
Being a tourist, I have fallen for tourist traps in the past and have learned my lesson. This is not a tourist trap, but rather a fine pairing of delicious, exceptionally prepared beef with a carefully curated selection of Japanese wines.

9 meses agoAmazing! Every single dish was a true explosion of flavors - top-quality Omi beef perfectly combined with vegetables, delicate sauces, and refined aromas. The ingredients were of outstanding quality and each dish was beautifully presented. The price was absolutely fair for what we received, and one leaves feeling pleasantly full and satisfied.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff spoke good English. What I found especially impressive was that the entire team that evening – including the chef – were women. They were confident, professional, and passionate - simply brilliant! BRAVO!
One small note: we would not have found the restaurant without navigation. A reservation beforehand is highly recommended, as there are only a few tables.
I would definitely visit again and would highly recommend this restaurant!

An incredible experience — the chef was wonderfully kind and truly skilled. Everything was excellent, with a great atmosphere. Congratulations to the whole team. 5 meses agoThis place is one of the best meals I've ever had! Every dish was perfect and unforgettable and the atmosphere was nice and the staff were all very friendly! I would definitely come back the next time I visit Kyoto! 10/10 highly recommended!
I went there a second time in 2026. It was just as good, if not better than I remembered! Once again, highly recommend this place if you are in Kyoto. The photos speak for themselves.
